Sheelagh is co-founder of S-MAN. S-MAN is a security management platform that brings together technological innovation and security processes, enhancing business continuity in times of crisis, mitigating risk and supporting employees as they embrace market opportunities. Sheelagh has approximately 20 years of experience in policing and security. She began her career An Garda Siochana, where she worked for 14 years. She then moved to the international security arena, holding positions such as, Mission Security Analyst with the European Union Border Assistance Mission in Libya, Senior Security Information Analyst, with UNDSS in Abuja Nigeria, and Analyst with the European Union Police Mission in Bosnia Herzegovina (BiH). In 2014, she started her own security company, SAR Consultancy, providing security related research and risk management services both at home and abroad. She is currently undertaking a PhD at Dublin City University (DCU).
